This notice explains how THIP (The Human Intelligence Practice), operating through THIP Human Flourishing Limited, uses personal information collected through this website. THIP is the data controller. Questions or requests: hello@thehumanintelligencepractice.com.
What we collect, and why
- Enquiries. Your name, email, organisation, role and message, so we can reply to you. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you send the form.
- Your account. Your email address and (optionally) your name, so you can sign in, read members’ articles and take courses. Lawful basis: contract.
- Purchases and subscriptions. What you have bought and its status, so we can give you access. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us. Lawful basis: contract.
- Course progress. Lessons completed and quiz scores, so you can pick up where you left off and receive a certificate. Lawful basis: contract.
- Newsletter. Only if you tick the box. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can change this on My account. Lawful basis: consent.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of trusted providers, each under a data processing agreement: Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email), and our website hosting and database providers. Some of these may process data outside the UK under approved safeguards. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account, purchase and progress records are kept while your account is active, and purchase records for as long as the law requires for tax purposes. Enquiries are kept for up to two years unless we go on to work together. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@thehumanintelligencepractice.com. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
